Welcome one and all to my newest project, this blog.
Created in hopes that it will be a motivator and an accountability partner to my bold and daring decision to quit my job as a school teacher last May.
Once upon a time there was a little girl with a dream. Her dream was to fall in love with a handsome prince, get married, and spend her days mothering her beautiful and intelligent children. Perhaps even someday she might be a PTO president.
Yep, that's me. Born in 1981, not 1941. I worked mainly as a babysitter through high school and college to prepare me for my future career. I even majored in elementary education (the best "mom" job I could think of).
So here I am, living my dream. I got my last paycheck a week ago. We decreased our steady income by 66%. Holy guacamole.
